HOW OUR MONEY IS USED
The Cerebral Palsy Center For The Bay Area is licensed by the State of California and has a contract with the Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) to provide services to persons with developmental disabilities. RCEB refers individuals to the Center. RCEB case managers monitor their needs and progress. The CP Center operates in strict compliance with the licensing requirements, reimbursement regulations, program operations and other state regulations.

The CP Center is also supported financially by the Mary Valle Foundation, which exists for the sole purpose of supporting services and meeting the needs of people with cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities. The Mary Valle Foundation owns the CP Center's building, which is dedicated solely to our use. The Foundation supplements the Center's budget annually because funding from RCEB and the State of California is inadequate.

Almost 90% of our funds are spent directly on participant programs.
The CP Center keeps its administrative and general operating costs - including fundraising - as low as possible. Ninety percent of our annual budget is spent on programs and services that directly benefit our participants. Administrative and operating expenses account for just 10% of our annual budget.
