I love being outdoors! Every summer I am lucky enough to go to Camp Harmon. It is a part of the Easter Seal Society they are the ones who raise money for the campers if they want to go to camp. Here are some of the things we did at Camp Harmon this past summer Every morning at Camp Harmon we would get up and get dressed, and go to the lodge for breakfast. The counselors would bring the food to our table and put my eating board on my wheelchair so I could feed myself. Then we ate a great breakfast. After breakfast they took my board and then we got ready for the morning activities. Every morning we had a choice of what we wanted to do such as archery or arts and crafts which we would do until lunch time. I even painted a picture of the sky, grass, trees, and the sun. Then we would go back to the lodge and eat lunch. We had a rest time until 3 PM when we had the choice of arts and crafts or swimming for the afternoon activity which would run until it was dinner time.

After dinner we anxiously awaited the evening activities to begin. Sometimes we had dances, other nights we had games such as bingo as part of casino night or just played other games. One night we even had a dance with a live band by the name of Lima Bean, which played rock n' roll.

The Sunday after we got to camp we got up late and we ate breakfast then we went to chapel we had the chance to say something that was on our minds. We sang a couple of songs then it was over. The we walked to the pool then we had a water carnival we had different events in the pool like the inner tube race.
